FriscoVania approached 900lbs to find away we could collaborate on a high-tech and buzz-worthy experience for their event. After initial brainstorming sessions with their team, we collectively went to work towards transforming our VR experience “Soccer Blocker” into a haunted experience – one that could be used by all ages, and provide a unique experience for the event’s trick-or-treaters.

This inaugural event will be held at Toyota Stadium in Frisco and proceeds from this event will provide mammogram screenings for 100 women in North Texas. This kickoff event for Friscovania, will be the first of 4 mobile mammogram screenings provided by Texas Health Resources at Toyota Stadium throughout the months of October and November.

Trick or Treat! October is filled with so many Halloween events for kids! Have you been able to attend any of the Fall festivals around North Dallas? Some nearly every weekend!! Now it’s time to think about Halloween events just the kids. Halloween can be such a fun and exciting time. It’s hard when the actual day falls on a school day. So many churches and places now offer family friendly and safe events. Many of these are even free! I love attending some of these because not only is it fun and safe but we get some more wear out of our costumes!! Here’s a look at some great Halloween events for kids happening in Collin County.
Last year Frisco resident, Kelly Whaley, was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. Within two months of her diagnosis, she passed away, leaving behind her now 5-year old son, Gunner.
With this tremendous loss, a group of friends came together to create an event that would honor Kelly and fulfill her last wish. Friscovania debuted on October 22, 2016, at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, embracing Kelly’s four greatest passions:

Co-Chairs Rhonda Sargent Chambers and Melissa Rountree, along with Toni Munoz-Hunt have arranged for the fundraiser to take place at The Belo Mansion on Friday, March 3.

Nearly 3,000 people showed up for the festivities, which included face painting, live music and a carnival.

Earlier this year, Priya announced her involvement as a cofounder of Mahila Dallas, a nonprofit that would partner with a different nonprofit each year to help raise funds.
This year, their inaugural year, they've partnered with Milaap to help provide loans for low-income female entrepreneurs in India.
