Wellness always begins within, inasmuch as what we eat and how we feel on the inside translates to how we look on the outside. That’s one reason why I’ve been such a fan of AdvoCare for quite some time now. From the entire company, to its distributors and users, everyone associated with AdvoCare are walking billboards for wellness. Personally, I was impressed early on with products like Spark and OmegaPlex, but it wasn’t until I fully immersed myself in the 24-Day Challenge that I realized its full potential in my life.
It didn’t start out as a drastic, life-changing decision; it was simply about incorporating something great that works into my already healthy lifestyle. And one of those great decisions was the Meal Replacement Shakes. They are perfect for the on-the-go lifestyle, and they easily work into my wellness program two to three times per week. They come in various flavors with only 220 calories per serving, and offer a whopping 24 grams of protein. They’re delicious as is, but I like to add a few other ingredients to keep things interesting. Here’s one of my favorite smoothies made with the AdvoCare Meal Replacement Shake in Vanilla.
- 1 12 oz bottle of juice (I use my weekly concoction of orange & pineapple )
- 1 banana (
- 1 cup of honey pecans
- 1 oz. of raw pistachios
- 1 tbsp of virgin coconut oil
- 1 AdvoCare Meal Replacement (vanilla)
- 4 cups of ice
- Toss everything into the blender, and serve.
