The Best Six Trends from NYFW Fall 2014

If ever there was a fashion week that looked as if it was pulled right from my hypothetical closet, it was last week’s New York Fashion Week.  The city was abuzz with parties, hipsters, and fawn-like model babies galore.  Even the slushy streets around Lincoln Center and Milk Studios were transformed into wintry runways flaunting street styles.  And, YES—in NYC during fashion week—it’s just as important what you look like on the outside as it is on the inside (inside the shows that is)!  For this season, the pressure was on for designers to set the trends and garner industry trust from reporters, bloggers, experts, buyers, and photographers. Neither established designers nor up-and-comers would disappoint.  In fact, everyone was on point, making it hard to choose just one favorite line or trend.  So, to make it easy on MB seekers, I categorized my favorite shows into The Best Six Trends from NYFW Fall 2014.
