Fashion Stars For A Cause

In 2014, Toni Muñoz-Hunt was named a Fashion Star, and in 2015 she and her husband Dan Hunt were the honorary chairs for the Fashion Stars for a Cause Gala. Model Behaviors has since sponsored a table each year, and in 2015, produced the cover and main editorial for the inaugural issue of Fashion Stars Magazine.

After tragically losing her sister six years ago, this cause is very near and dear to Model Behaviors because it benefits The Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas. The Suicide and Crisis Center offers a twenty-four-hour crisis line, support programs, awareness programs, and screening. It’s not a government program, and it’s up to the community to keep it funded and running.

DESIGN: Toni and the Model Behaviors design team came up with a fun and fashionable editorial layout that would highlight Toni’s pregnant belly, yet complement the other fashionable women featured inside the magazine.

EDITORIAL: The goal of the interview and photo shoot was to be light and airy. The Fashion Stars for a Cause Gala is usually hosted in March and that’s when the magazine is featured. It was important that both pieces represented a new life and new beginnings.

PRODUCTION: Model Behaviors brought on members of our Village to complete the overall vision and design concept, including: photographer, stylist, makeup artist, and prop-stylist. This was the inaugural issue and was to set the tone for future issues.
